“My journey may be unique in some ways, but I am not special. Every one of us can connect with the small, still voice of our soul, and with a magnificent power greater than ourselves. We can each surrender a little more ego and live with a little more love in our lives. And every one of us has the ability to choose a life of courageous authenticity, no matter how unusual we are. If and when we make that step, life continues to unfold with mostly mundane moments that somehow become threaded with awe-inspiring golden sparks of joy and aliveness.”

Dr. Zemel’s first book, Guided: Journey into the Unknown to Awaken the Soul and Live in Truth, is a chronicle of mystical-psychic phenomena, in which she shares a paradoxical journey full of debate and struggle. Dr. Zemel courageously reveals an unexpected passage from fragmentation to wholeness, from hiding to being seen, and from fear to love.

Dr. Zemel earned her PhD from Saybrook University in mind-body medicine and her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in nutrition science. She lives with her husband in Nashville, Tennessee.
